Janet Mrachek lived outside of Wabasha and created watercolors and drawings that evoke the rustic landscape of the area. During her painting career which started later in her life, her original works were hung in numerous shows and galleries.
Janet passed away in 1980.
The artwork in this exhibit has been provided by her daughter Jan Mrachek.
Limited edition prints are available and proceeds will benefit the Library.
The artwork will be on exhibit through the month of August.
Jan will host an Open House on Monday, Aug. 22nd at 6:00 p.m.

For each badge earned or 1 hour of reading, the child’s name will be entered in a drawing for a metal water bottle and stickers. A total of 6 water bottles will be given away. Start reading today!
