Wabasha Public Library is Proud to Be a 98th Anniversary Children’s Book Week Event Host
Children’s Book Week is the longest-running national celebration of books for young people and the joy of reading. We are proud to be hosting the following event(s) in celebration of Children’s Book Week:
A book display with the Children’s & Teen Choice Book Awards nominees will be available in the children’s room.
- Coloring pages, word finds, and other activities celebrating the joy of reading will be available throughout the week.
- Pre-School Story Time with Ms. Amy – Date: Thursday, May 4th at 10:00 a.m. Join in the fun sharing stories and activities during story time with Ms. Amy.
- Children’s Book Week Fun Night for 4th – 6th Graders – Date: Thursday, May 4th, 4:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Children’s Book Week book nominees will be read and votes casted for each child’s favorite. Snacks will be provided including doughnuts and milk.
